WORK IN PROGRESS!

around 8/15/25 made initial sketch for the website in my sketchbook, was still considering many other things before deciding to just go ahead and try to code it

8/15/25 7:43pm decided i was going to go for it. made neocities website and started working on the website idea i initially had (did not make it past a few lines of code)

8/21/25 3:30pm made nekoweb website, and decided to use nekoweb instead and continued working in nekoweb instead restarting from scratch

8/21/25 2:58pm bought the spiderdraws.com domain

8/22/25 11:06am became a Nekoweb patreon member for the extra perks and because I decided i wanted to have a custom domain

8/22/25 2:40pm expanded upon the initial sketch to figure out exactly what I wanted for the homepage also took a photo of how it looked at the time of this sketch

8/23/25 11:07pm none of the buttons go anywhere yet! but this is what i have done so far (in just 3 days, im literally spening 98% of my day coding but its been so fun i missed this)

up until this point ALL updates are figured out by going through my photo gallery, emails and chat logs

8/24/25 6:17pm spent most of this day so far switching between coding while waiting for the sink water to drain so i can keep doing dishes lol. Just finished up the drop down welcome box! I'm still trying to figure out how to make it stay open when you click it but oh well I'll try to get that to work another day. I'm going to work on the post design now! wish me luck.

8/24/25 7:30pm so, i was working on the post css and wanted to test how it looks. and for some reason unknown to me currently IT BROKE THE BACKGROUND OF THE SITE?? HELLO?? GIVE IT BACK PLEASE

8/24/25 8:01pm couldnt figure out what went wrong so I ended up ctrl-zing my way out of those issues i literally have no idea what i even did lol

8/25/25 12:02am Uhh, hi! Just finished up the social media looking post css and html. Super duper cool and I really like how it turned out! I know its late please dont yell at me, I actually coded a lot less today and just took a bit of a break but I'm def going to be sucked into coding again all day tomorrow. I can't believe how good i've gotten at web dev stuff I'm actually super impressed with myself. Anyone who's ever believed in me.. hate to say this but you were right HAHAHA

8/27/25 9:31pm It looks like I didnt do anything yesterday I just forgot to log it lol. I did organize my files (put the images into a folder on nekoweb dashboard to keep them all in one place) however doing so made all of the image links not work so I had to fix all of the links. Also added the about me page! about to add the others.

8/27/25 10:39pm Finished connecting and laying out the groundwork for the other pages! Something tells me setting up the blog will be a bit of a challenge. I still need to finish the right side "Whats spider up to?" status update stuff on the main page but I'm saving that for near last since I'd need to teach myself a lot of API stuff that I have NO IDEA how to tackle lmao.

9/6/25 8:24pm Spent today, and the past few days working on a nice lil pfp instead of the old placeholder. I really like it! Also finished the button. About to start working on the whats spider up to side that i've been procrastination on... aha...

9/26/25 2:40pm Just edited some site stuff, added a neighbors links page so if someone finds the marquees side scroll for the site buttons annoying they can just click on the link above to see them statically. Hope its helpful! I was going to add them to the general links page but i thought it might get a bit cluttered there lol.

First post on my webbed site! Hope you like it. writing the CSS for this BY MYSELF took like 99% of my brain power for the last 2 or 3 days that I had been trying to get it to work. It broke the background of the site once and I couldn't figure out how to fix it and eventually I had to ctrl z which meant I had to rewrite the thing again, lol.

Anyways, this is the first Comic of the week I'm hoping to make it a weekly thing, where I draw a comic a week and post it here, but I think sometimes if I get lazy I'll just advertise someone else's account, art, or project.

We'll see! Anyways, lol.
